About Rachel

Rachel believes the most powerful part of therapy isn't any single technique or framework. It starts with relationship. She works primarily with adolescent girls, young adults, and older adults who are ready to understand themselves more deeply and take meaningful steps toward personal empowerment. What draws her to this work is witnessing that first moment of courage, when someone decides to show up and be honest about where they are.

Rachel specializes in anxiety therapy, depression counseling, self-esteem issues, emotional dysregulation, grief and loss, trauma, stress management, and racial identity concerns. She also supports clients navigating life adjustments, phase of life concerns, and major life transitions.

Her core approach is person-centered counseling, meaning sessions are largely shaped by the client. Rachel works to genuinely understand each individual and creates space where clients feel empowered to lead their own growth. She also provides practical coping tools clients can use between sessions, building a toolkit to help manage everyday challenges outside the therapy room.

Clients can expect Rachel's sessions to be open, encouraging, and completely judgment-free. She values honesty, reflection, and warmth. Humor is welcome here too, because growth doesn't always have to feel so heavy. Outside the office, she enjoys music and reading.
