Mackenzie

“Meaningful change happens within genuine connection.”

Mackenzie is currently completing her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Kent State University and is actively engaged in her internship at Sandstone Counseling. She previously earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Kent State University and brings over two years of experience in Crisis Intervention with 988 Suicide Prevention.

Mackenzie believes that meaningful change happens within the context of a genuine connection. She views therapy as a collaborative partnership where clients feel heard, valued, and supported as they work toward the life they want to live.

Drawing from person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and acceptance-based approaches, Mackenzie creates a therapeutic space grounded in trust, compassion, and trauma-informed care. She recognizes that each person's path is unique and works alongside clients to identify their strengths, navigate challenges, and develop practical strategies that support their mental and emotional wellness.

Mackenzie is currently supervised by Angela Rodgers, LPCC-S, NCC.
