About Naseem
Naseem Mirhaidari believes every child deserves a counseling space where they feel safe, understood, and free to be themselves. Naseem works with children and adolescents in Green, Ohio, building a warm and welcoming environment where counseling feels comfortable, engaging, and genuinely supportive.
Naseem's focus areas include anxiety therapy, trauma-informed therapy, life transitions, emotional dysregulation, and coping skills, with particular experience supporting neurodivergent children and adolescents. She helps young clients navigate changes like new schools, shifting family dynamics, and difficult experiences, giving them tools to understand their emotions and build confidence along the way. She is also bilingual, which allows her to connect with a wider range of families in the Green and Akron area.
Naseem takes an integrative approach that draws on person-centered, cognitive behavioral, narrative, strengths-based, and expressive arts techniques, adapting each session to fit the child in front of her. In practice this often means play. She's just as comfortable on the floor with a puzzle or a board game as sitting at a desk, because kids tend to open up more when they're building or creating something alongside you.
Sessions with Naseem are interactive and collaborative, designed so kids feel seen, heard, and accepted as they grow. Outside the office, she can usually be found outdoors, spending time with family, or hunting down a new favorite cup of coffee.
